The Wardrobe: A Humorous and Visually-Rich Point & Click Adventure Game
The Wardrobe is a point and click adventure game developed by CINIC Games for Windows. The game is about a skeleton named Skinny who was once Ronald’s best friend. One day, Ronald accidentally caused Skinny’s death by giving him a plum to eat. Since then, Skinny has been living in Ronald’s wardrobe as a skeleton. To save Ronald’s soul from eternal damnation, Skinny must reveal himself and make Ronald admit his crime.
The game is visually-rich with more than 40 hand-illustrated and digitally colored locations. It pays tribute to the pop culture through a myriad of references and is inspired by the great ‘90s classics such as Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Tony Tough, and Sam & Max: Hit the Road. The game has a strong sense of humor but deals with mature and non-politically correct themes.
The Wardrobe has more than 70 characters and dozens of clever puzzles. There are four types of actions for each hotspot: look, pick up, use, and talk. The dialogues have multiple choices and are full of funny answers to try.
